The CleanFeed service is a business grade service that can be deployed for organisations wanting to secure their internet service from both malicious and inappropriate browsing.

The service is available from any of Clear Networks access technologies anywhere across Australia, and is provided for a one-off corporate setup and a per access link cost.

Organisations can choose from a range of categories they feel are inappropriate and exclude access to these, as well as selecting their own ‘white list’ and ‘black list’ websites.

Advanced Content Filtering

The CleanFeed service works by filtering actual content on a page. Unlike other technologies that rely on a list of ‘blacklist URL’s’ this service continuously monitors the actual content as well as URL location, assuring that as new sites come online content that matches any category is still able to be blocked.

The service makes use of weighted phrase filtering with intelligent scoring which is better than just plain word or phrase scoring.

Anti-Virus Filtering

The CleanFeed service will actively monitor content for any suspicious virus content as well as downloaded content (files). Any virus contaminated content/files will be removed and stopped prior to getting to the requesting machine on the Access Link.

Anti-Malware/Phishing

The CleanFeed service will look for any malware or phishing sites and stop such content from being executed thereby protecting the end-user machine.

Blacklist/Whitelist specifications

Organisations are able to specify any sites they specifically do or do not want their end-users to be able to access. These lists can be configured and changed at any time, and over-ride any category settings chosen as part of their organisation implementation.
